It combines academic coursework at one of our academic partner institutions (public and private universities) with supervised internships at multiple business sites and sectors, homestays, and a varied range of cultural and business-related activities and excursions. This program offers you a dynamic and unique experience of immersion.

This study abroad program meets the needs of students who seek a study abroad experience in a Spanish speaking country that also enhances their professional profile. These are students who want to maximize their experience abroad by combining it with a relevant, serious and hands-on international work experience.

6 to 10-weeks long program in Madrid, Spain combining coursework and internships.

After an intensive course on Business and Professional Spanish, students will start work on their selected internship site. Pairing of students and internship sites will precede arrival in Spain.

Students take part in a weekly Internship Seminar once a week supporting the on-site practical experience.

Students will live with local families or university residence halls to emphasize the immersion.

Cultural activities, including excursions to Toledo and Segovia as well as visits to business sites complete the program.
